Hi, I’m Steven Goans, the owner and founder of Goodside Real Estate Media, born and raised, right here in the Bay Area.
Having a background in bookkeeping and accounting for 10+ years, picking up a camera wasn’t always my plan. During 2020, when COVID first hit, my wife and I had just purchased a home and our 2nd son was on the way. When the world shut down my income took a big hit and I had to find ways to make ends meet. I tried everything, DoorDash, Amazon, Drop-shipping, streaming, you name it.

Fast-forward to last year, I purchased a camera to try product photography so that I could sell custom merchandise that I was making. One day I received a call about AirBnb Investing. I immediately noticed how bad the pictures were and thought I could help solve that problem. I started cold-calling Airbnb owners to see if they’d allow me to take pictures for their listings. That escalated to cold-calling agents, and the rest is history…

I enjoy capturing the beauty and essence of a home and creating a piece of art. The relationships that form with my clients allow me to help them understand that media matters and to appreciate the fast-pace of real estate photography and videography.
